PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connection sleeve which can reduce the impact between the plug ferrule and the stub, and also an optical receptacle, and an optical module. SOLUTION: This optical connection sleeve has a sleeve which has an inner hole to insert the plug ferrule, and a stub formed in the hole and having an edge to come in contact with the tip of the plug ferrule. The length L1 from the edge of the chamfer formed near the end of the hole to insert the plug ferrule up to the end of the stub, the length L2 of the chamfer formed near the tip of the plug ferrule, and the projecting length L3 of the plug ferrule satisfy the relational expression L1≥L2+L3.
