PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for degassing a liquid coating capable of removing bubbles mixed with the coating efficiently with a simple configuration of the apparatus. SOLUTION: The method of degassing a liquid coating is characterized by stirring a bubble-mixed liquid coating by means of a stirring screw 23 having a stirring blade 26 equipped with a liquid guiding section 45 tapered toward the back in the proceeding direction so as to flocculate and float bubbles b in the liquid guiding section 45.
