PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously manufacture a porous sheet of an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. SOLUTION: A dispersion, obtained by mixing powders of an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, a dispersant and a surfactant, is coated on a carrier sheet 1 to form a coating film 2a. Then by heating the coating film 2a the powders of the ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene is sintered to obtain a sheet-like porous body 2b. After the carrier sheet 1 is stripped off from the sheet-like porous body 2b, the dispersant and the surfactant remaining in the sheet-like porous body 2b are removed. Then the sheet-like porous body 2b is compressed to the thickness direction to obtain the porous sheet 2c of the ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
