It is preferably made from a length of H-section plastic, as shown, the appliance being bent in the usual way at 14 and having its central web cut at its outer end and the two resulting limbs bent away from each other to form lugs 12, 13. The two lateral channels form air passages which are not easily blocked and which can be readily cleaned and sterilised. Suitable materials for use are natural and artificial rubber, cellulose acetate, cellulose propionate or butyrate, ethyl cellulose or acrylic resins. |
