<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a security camera for an elevator eliminating the need of wiring for supplying power by using an amorphous silicon solar cell panel having high photoelectric conversion efficiency to a wavelength area of visible rays, improving the reliability of a picture signal, downsizing a device as a whole, and reducing cost. <P>SOLUTION: The security camera for the elevator comprises a security camera 10 disposed at a lower part of a ceiling lighting in a car chamber 22, and a plane-shaped solar cell panel 14 placed on an upper part of the security camera 10.
