摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of an imaging element accurately detecting a phase difference even when displacement occurs on a translucent part of a shading part regulating a pair of pupil parts in an emission pupil. SOLUTION: The imaging element provided on an imaging device includes a plurality of pairs of pixels 11a, 11b receiving an object light flux passing each of a right side part Qb and a left side part Qa regulated as the deviated pupil part in right and left directions in the emission pupil of a photographing optical system by rhombus-shape opening parts OPa, OPb formed in shading masks 12a, 12b. Since any eclipse due to the emission pupil in the object light flux passing each opening part OPa, OPb hardly occurs even when the displacement occurs when the opening parts are positioned and formed by the rhombus-shape opening parts OPa, OPb, output of good balance from the pair of the pixels 11a, 11b is obtained.
