摘要 <p>The method involves positioning an object consisting of a high-homogeneous optical material in a measuring device. A linearly polarized light is generated by a light source. The polarized light is guided through the object. A deviation of a polarization angle of the light withdrawing from the object against the light irradiated into the object is determined, where the object is thermally adjusted to ambient temperature of the measuring device before the measurement, till the temperature difference between the object and the measuring environment amounts to a specific value.</p>
