<p>Vehicle weight measuring apparatus and method are provided. In the vehicle weight measuring apparatus, wireless communicable sensors are installed in the leaf spring and frames of the vehicle, and a user receives measured values from the sensors through an electronic device installed in the vehicle or a mobile phone in a wireless manner, so that the weight of vehicle can be measured in real-time and overload vehicle can be prevented. In addition, maintenance can be easily performed in comparison with a conventional method where a strain gauge is connected to the electronic device installed in the vehicle through cables. In addition, inclination sensors (slope sensors) for measuring inclinations of the vehicle and the leaf spring are installed in the vehicle, so that installation and replacement can be easily performed in comparison with the con¬ ventional method where the strain gauge is installed in the vehicle. In addition, a degree of deflection of the leaf spring according to the weight exerted on the vehicle is detected by using the inclination of the leaf spring to measure the weight of the vehicle. Furthermore, the in¬ clination of the leaf spring is measured by taking into consideration the entire inclinations of the vehicle, so that the weight can be accurately measured irrespective of inclination of the site where the vehicle is loaded.</p> |
