<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve on safety at over discharge and battery capacity, for an organic electrolyte primary battery equipped with a negative electrode made of alkali metal or an alloy mainly composed of alkali metal, and a positive electrode with an active material mixture layer filled on a core material. <P>SOLUTION: A wound-around battery includes: the negative electrode made of alkali metal such as lithium; and a positive electrode having a mixture layer made of an active material filled on a conductive porous core material. In the organic electrolyte primary battery, the positive electrode mixture layer of the positive electrode active material having a capacity not less than half that of an outermost periphery of the negative electrode is provided at a part of the positive electrode outermost layer opposed to the negative electrode outermost layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
