<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-mount type crystal oscillator with high productivity, wherein one of driven electrodes of a crystal blank becomes the output side of an oscillating amplifier element, irrespective of the position of a crystal terminal of an IC chip. <P>SOLUTION: The surface-mount type crystal oscillator is constituted so that a crystal blank 2, having a pair of driven electrodes on both main surfaces and an IC chip 1, are stored in a container body 3; crystal terminals 6 (x, y) in the IC terminals are electrically connected to the driven electrodes via wire bonding; one driven electrode connected to the output side of the IC chip 1 is disposed on the aperture-end face side of the container body 3; and the one driven electrode is irradiated with ion beams to adjust the oscillation frequency, wherein the pair of driven electrodes are respectively connected to first and second circuit terminals 10 (x1, x2) or 10 (y1, y2), which can be selectively conductive with the crystal terminals to be the input/output terminals of the IC chip 1, and the crystal terminals to be the input/output terminals of the oscillating amplifier element are connected to either the first and second circuit terminals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
