PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a blur correction to consecutively taken images inexpensively and highly precisely, and to reduce the increase of required memory capacity caused when correcting blurs of consecutively taken normal-exposure images by using a short-exposure image. SOLUTION: An image sequence to be recorded constituted of (m) normal-exposure images and (n) short-exposure images is consecutively taken in accordance with consecutive photographing instructions and image data thereof are recorded on a recording medium ((m) and (n) are integers). In such a case, a ratio between the number of normal-exposure images and the number of short-exposure images to be taken is set so as to establish m<n. Furthermore, based on a displacement amount (D<SB>A</SB>) between preview images taken before consecutive photographing, the ratio of (n) in (m) is variably set. When the displacement amount is great, the ratio is increased but when the displacement amount is small, the ratio is decreased. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
