PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition device of an internal combustion engine, surely preventing theft. SOLUTION: In a comparison part 54, while a first switch 41 and a second switch 42 of a key switch 40 are turned on, an electric potential of a node A and an electric potential of a node B are compared and the electric potential of the node A and an electric potential of a node C are compared. Then, in a control part 55, if the comparison results of the comparison part 54 indicate that the electric potential of the node A is in a range from the electric potential of the node B to the electric potential of the node C, engine ignition is conducted and, if the electric potential of the node A is not in the range from the electric potential of the node B to the electric potential of the node C, the engine ignition is stopped.
