PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication channel system and a method improved for using a fiber channel cyclic redundancy cord (CRC) for data integrity in an on-chip memory. SOLUTION: This communication channel system includes a channel node 1220 having a dual port 116, and the respective ports support a fiber channel adjusting loop communication channel 1250. A frame including the cyclic redundancy cord (CRC) and received from a fiber channel loop 1250 is stored in a buffer 119 of an on-chip 110, and the frame is inspected by an integrity device 596 for guaranteeing integrity of the frame when reading out of the buffer. In various embodiments, a data frame having the CRC is stored in a data frame buffer 55, or a non-data frame having the CRC is stored in a non-data frame buffer 53 or 53'.
