A gear train of automatic transmission for vehicles is provided to reduce volume and the total length of the auto transmission by arranging a combined planetary gear set with three clutches and two brakes. The planetary gear set comprises the first actuating element, the second actuating element, the input entry, the third actuating element. The complex epicyclic gearing set comprises the fourth actuating element, the fifth actuating element, and the sixth actuating element and the seventh actuating element. The first clutch(C-1) is arranged between the first planetary gear set(PG-1) and the second planet gear set(PG-2). The second clutch(C-2) is arranged between the second planet gear set and the third planetary gear set(PG-3). The third clutch(C-3) is placed is the side of the first planetary gear set and in the direction which is adjacent to the engine.
