ANTIOXIDANT COMPOSITION COMPRISING GLYCYRRHIZA GLABRA EXTRACT

An antioxidation composition containing a Glycyrrhiza glabra extract with excellent antioxidation activity is provided to improve stability without side effect and raise the contents of 7-O-methylluteone and dehydroglyasperin C. An antioxidation composition comprises a Glycyrrhiza glabra extract. The Glycyrrhiza glabra extract is obtained using C1-5 alcohol, hexane, dichloromethane, methylene chloride, chloroform, ethylacetate or ethylether. A solvent for extracting is mixture solvent of methylene chloride or normal hexane and ethanol in a ratio of 10:1-8:1. The Glycyrrhiza glabra extract comprises 0.4-0.6 weight part of 7-O-methyllutheone and 0.2-0.4 weight part of dehydroglyasperin C based on 100 weight part.
