Class 69 (ii) [Also in Group XXVIII] A motor vehicle accessory system comprises a single stroke hydraulic motor 3<SP>1</SP> supplied by an electrically driven reversible pump 2<SP>1</SP> through solenoid valves 12<SP>1</SP>, 13<SP>1</SP>, and twin control switches 24, each of which operates first to close the pump circuit and then the appropriate valve circuit. On pressing the appropriate switch button a plunger 20 closes contacts 19, 17 to energise the motor and then closes contacts 19, 18 to energise the valve solenoids. A double check valve 28 in a shunt passage 27 allows fluid to circulate whilst valves 12<SP>1</SP>, 13<SP>1</SP> are closed. In a modification the twin-button switch 24 is replaced by a single lever switch carrying bridging members at one end and a single knob at the other.
