Class 40 (3) Relates to an arrangement for obtaining colour converted negatives from colour separation positives in which the positives 12, 14, 16 are scanned by a cathode-ray tube 10 to derive signals in photo-cells 30, 32, 34 which are "converted" in a computer circuit 36 and applied separately to modulate the intensity of the beam in a second cathode-ray tube 50 for printing the negatives at 72. In accordance with the invention, an accurate register between the reproduced negatives is ensured by connecting the X and Y deflecting coils 58, 68 and 60, 70 of the two cathode-ray tubes in series to common sweep sources 74 and 76 and by energizing the final anodes 56, 66 in parallel from a common supply 78. The focusing electrodes may also be connected in parallel. |
