摘要 A method of covalent bond between aluminum and carbon materials, a method of preparing aluminum and carbon material compound, and aluminum and carbon material compound prepared by the same are provided to make aluminum and carbon material compound with light weight and high mechanical rigidity by using electrical arc inducing covalent bond between aluminum and carbon materials. A method of covalent bond between aluminum and carbon materials includes a step of treating a carbon material with ultrasonic wave or microwave in acid solution, a step of mixing aluminum and the carbon material with a ball mill, and a step of applying pulse current to induce arc discharge. The carbon material is one or two kinds of materials selected from the group consisting of graphite, graphite fiber, carbon fiber, carbon nano fiber, and carbon nano tube.
