A television power control time setting method is provided to set power on/off time of a television according to each day, thereby using a reservation function suitably for a life pattern of a user. A reservation function according to each day is set(S10). It is determined whether the reservation function is selected separately based on a weekday or a weekend(S20). Power on/off time about Saturday or Sunday is set according to input time(S30). Power on/off time is set for each day according to the input time(S40).
