A powdered product that can be admixed with hot water to produce a beverage comprises dried tomato juice as its major constituent, and also includes dried yeast or yeast extract and a dried vegetable or vegetable extract. Preferably said vegetable is celery or celeriac. In addition, dried carrot juice may be included. Salt may be added. Also disclosed is a beverage produced by the addition of hot water to the powdered product. |
