The cryogen transfer feed has a coupling line (2) connected (3) to the receiving tank (B). The coupling includes a valve (V2) venting to atmosphere to allow purging of the coupling line. An analyzer (10) connected to the coupling line permanently monitors the purity of the liquid during transfer. Delivery is controlled by a valve (V1) on the delivery side of the vent and analyzer. Claims include a method of cryogen transfer.
