A parking system is provided to be suitable for utilizing as a public parking lot in a residential district by securing a sufficient parking space and forming a tower structure in a low-rise type, to have no problem of a right to sunlight and altitude limitation, and to make construction possible with low budget. A parking system comprises a tower structure(10) having a hoistway(12) in the center and parking spaces(14,15) equipped with a multi-layered parking chamber(13) on two sides of the hoistway, a lift(20) installed to be ascent and descent to ascend and descend a vehicle(c) along the hoistway, and a driving device equipped with a winding machine(31) provided to the bottom of the tower structure and winding or unwinding wire ropes(61,62) connected to the lift to generate the driving force of the lift.
