FEED COMPOSITION COMPRISING HEMPSEED MEAL FOR FRUIT FLY AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

A fruit fly feed composition containing hemp seed powder is provided to accelerate pupation and improve growth rate of the fruit fly. A composition for feeding fruit fly comprises 5-20 weight% of hemp seed powder based on total weight. The hemp seed powder is manufactured by drying the total hemp seed and pulverizing. A method for producing the composition comprises: a first step of mixing 5-20 weight% of hemp seed powder, 0.5-2 weight% of agar, and 0.1-2 weight% of yeast in the water; a second step of heating and boiling the mixture of the first step; a third step of adding malt extract and starch syrup in the mixture; a fourth step of cooling the mixture at 60-80°C; a step of adding a preservative; and a step of pouring to a culture bottle.
