A television channel conversion method is provided to enable a viewer to confirm the tuned state of a channel. A microcomputer of a television performs the conversion in the direction of increasing or decreasing a channel number according to the input of an up or down key(S11), reduces a received broadcast signal of a channel to be converted through a scaler to display the contracted broadcast signal on a part of a TV screen(S12), and then determines whether the tuning for the channel to be converted is completed(S13). |
