A hydrogen storage apparatus using hydrogen storage metal alloy is provided to control absorption and emission of hydrogen easily because the thermal control about hydrogen storage metallic alloy is rapidly made. A hydrogen storage apparatus using hydrogen storage metal alloy comprises a housing(10) in which an inlet and outlet of hydrogen are formed, a foam metal which is arranged inside the housing, a hydrogen storage module(20) made of hydrogen storage metal alloy powder filled in the open cell of the foam metal, and a heating/cooling module which heats up or cools down the hydrogen storage module.
