<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information code reader capable of reading an information code displayed on a liquid crystal, without being influenced by a dot pattern. <P>SOLUTION: A reflecting mirror 22 is vibrated by a piezoelectric actuator 26, and an image of the dot pattern formed as an image in an area sensor 30 is blurred by being displaced, and the information code displayed on the liquid crystal can be read without being influenced by the dot pattern.
