PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of the area of a low data density. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an ultrasonic image processor 12 for processing and interpolating echo data from the ultrasonic vibrator of an ultrasonic endoscope 1 and forming three-dimensional ultrasonic data, a magnetic sensor 16 for detecting a magnetic field generated by a magnetic source inside the hard part 3 of the ultrasonic endoscope 1, a position detector 17 for inputting magnetic field detection signals from the magnetic sensor 16 and calculating the position and direction of the magnetic source and a personal computer 20 for inputting the three-dimensional ultrasonic data and displaying the three-dimensional ultrasonic images of absolute coordinates on a monitor 18 based on the position and orientation of the magnetic source. The personal computer 20 corrects the luminance of respective pixels by the three-dimensional ultrasonic wave data along plural linear scanning axes and generates the three- dimensional ultrasonic images of the absolute coordinates. |
