COVER BODY AND SUBSTRATE RECEIVING CONTAINER

A substrate receiving container whose parts and attachments are less likely to be lost even when a cover body is manually opened and closed, that is less likely to produce particles even if it is subjected to vibration and impact during transportation, and that does not require a long time to dry after being washed. The substrate receiving container has a container body (1) for receiving substrates and a cover body (10) detachably fitted in the opening front face (2) of the container body (1). The cover body (10) has a casing detachably fitted in the opening front face (2) of the container body (1); a locking mechanism (14) disposed on the surface of the casing and locking the casing by engaging a locking claw to the inner periphery of the opening front part (2) of the container body (1), the locking claw being retractably projected from the peripheral wall of the casing by rotation of a rotation plate (15); a cover plate (22) mounted on the surface of the casing to cover the locking mechanisms; and an operation window (30) formed in the cover plate (22) and partially facing the rotating plates (15). Manual operation means is installed on the locking mechanism (14) at its portion facing the operation window (30) for the rotating plate (15).
