A text broadcasting receiving method in a digital broadcasting receiver capable of varying the contents of a tele-text broadcast is provided to select the desired contents possessively by implementing bidirectional on-demand tele-text broadcast between a broadcasting station and a receiver. A contents menu of a text broadcast is displayed(S200). If specific contents are selected in the menu, the corresponding contents data is requested through a tuner and network. The tele-text data of the target contents according to request is received(S202-S212). The decoded tele-text is inserted within the broadcasting program picture and is displayed(S214). |
