A channel converting method of a television is provided to improve the channel converting speed. It is determined whether a user selects the channel conversion(S11). The kind of current channel] of a channel(S12). It is determined whether a channel to be converted is the same kind of channel as the current channel(S13). If so, the current channel is converted into the channel to be converted(S14). If the channel to be converted is different from the current channel, the current channel is converted into the same kind of next channel(S15). |
