A video searching method of an optical disc apparatus is provided to search and display images corresponding to specific search word which a user inputs effectively by displaying target image screen data according to set division condition. A video searching method of an optical disc apparatus comprises: a step(410) reading out subtitle data recorded in an optical disc in case a specific search word is inputted through an subtitle searching menu screen; a step searching the specific search word in the read-out subtitle data; a step(416) displaying the search result of the specific search word in the menu screen; a step(418) reading and storing image screen data corresponding to the search result; and a step(422) displaying the image screen data on one screen according to set division condition.
