A channel changing method of a digital television is provided to turn on the digital television at a preset time and change a channel into a preset channel, thereby conveniently offering a desired broadcasting program without adjusting the power and channel one by one. A user sets up a desired channel and time(S10). A microcomputer checks the set time of the user(S20), and determines whether a digital television is turned on(S30). If so, the microcomputer determines whether the current channel coincides with the set channel(S60). If not, the microcomputer changes the current channel into the set channel through a tuner demodulator(S70).
