A volume control apparatus by time is provided to conveniently watch a television without individually controlling volume. Power is on(S10). A microcomputer stores volume data at a predetermined time interval in a memory unit(S20). It is determined whether a set time passes(S30). An average value of each time volume data is counted(S40). According to the average value, volume is controlled(S50).
