A scrambling and descrambling method for copy protection by illegal copy is provided to perform non-interleaving descrambling by using unique ID after storing the set unique ID in a memory. Scrambled program information is received(S201). A video recording signal is inputted from an input unit. The unique ID of the set is extracted and is stored in the memory(S211-S215). The stored unique ID on video tape is recorded by using the interleaving scramble lock key. The unique ID is defined as the interleaving scramble and is recorded in a storage unit. The program information recorded in the storage is descrambled based on the non-interliving mode. |
