An initial driving device of a television is provided to shorten the initial driving time after the cold reset. Information about the initial driving time of a microcomputer(3) is stored. The microcomputer controls the initial driving time according to the reset elapsed time. A plurality of function blocks(1) are operated by the control of the microcomputer.
