A REFRIGERATOR HAVING DISPENSER PART AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME

A refrigerator equipped with a dispenser part and a using method thereof are provided to prevent irradiation of an ultraviolet ray to the outside by turning off an ultraviolet lay lamp automatically when a dispenser cover is opened. A refrigerator(100) equipped with a dispenser part(20) includes an ultraviolet lay lamp(27), a dispenser cover(29), and a control part. The ultraviolet lay lamp is combined on an upper side of the dispenser part located on a front side of the refrigerator door. The ultraviolet lay lamp sterilizes and disinfects the inside of the dispenser part. The dispenser cover is formed on one side of the dispenser part. The dispenser cover prevents irradiation of the ultraviolet ray to the outside. The control part maintains a state of the ultraviolet lay lamp according to opening and closing of the dispenser cover.
