An HDD management method of a PVR TV is provided to remove a program that recording is failed by storage excess due to storage capacity shortage of an HDD. It is determined whether reservation record about a program of a PVR TV is set(S10). Storage capacity remaining in the HDD is checked(S20). Storage capacity of a program to be stored is calculated(S30). If storage capacity remaining in an HDD is smaller than storage capacity of a program to be stored(S40), a storage list is displayed(S70).
