An oil seal of a power steering apparatus is provided to maintain the sealing function of the oil seal by improving the structure of the oil seal so that a back-up ring is not separated from an oil seal. An oil seal of a power steering apparatus is composed of a main lip(71) sealed to contact with a rack bar, a dust lip(73) arranged to be spaced from the main lip, a metal ring(74) which is interposed between the main lip and the dust lip to reinforce the rigidity of an oil seal(70), a ring-type spring(75) which is installed at the outer peripheral of the main lip to pressurize the main lip, and a back-up ring(76) interposed between the main lip and the metal ring. The back-up ring separates the oil seal from the outer circumference of the rack bar to prevent the oil seal from sliding.
