A receiving device of a multiuser communication system and a control method thereof are provided to improve complexity by minimizing delay of a processing time. A multiuser detector(210) generates a soft decision value by using a plurality of received signals and prior information output in previous repetition. A channel decoder(240) updates the soft decision value by locally and repeatedly decoding the soft decision value. A global decoding controller(250) control global repeated decoding by checking the updated soft decision value.
