<p>A spectacle frame comprises a front portion (10) and two arms (20). The front portion (10) is composed of two or more thin laminas (11, 12) juxtaposed in a "sandwich" arrangement, in which a first lamina (12) forms lens-holding rims (16) and has a structurally weak portion (15) visible from the exterior, and a second lamina (11) is a reinforcing lamina which extends continuously between two opposite ends (12a) of the first lamina. At least one of the laminas is formed from a thin metal sheet. The laminas are held together by a plurality of rivets (30).</p> |
