A refrigerator equipped with a sterilizer is provided to sterilize inner air of a storage room and containers kept in the storage room without deteriorating food stored in the storage room. A refrigerator equipped with a sterilizer includes an insertion groove(11), a transparent shelf(12), and an ultraviolet source(5). The insertion groove is formed at the side of a storage room. The edge of the transparent shelf is inserted into the insertion groove such that the shelf is fixed. The ultraviolet source is set in the insertion groove and emits ultraviolet rays to the inside of the shelf through the edge of the shelf. |
