A method and a system for transceiving data in a WPAN(Wireless Personal Area Network) are provided to reduce energy consumption by switching into a power-down mode when data is not received. An activity time parameter is transmitted to an end device. The active time parameter is information for enabling the end device to maintain operation in a reception mode. More than one packet data is transmitted to the end device to transmit the data received from a coordinator.
