A digital broadcasting signal strength display apparatus and a method thereof are provided to display a sample image and help through which signal strength separated based on a plurality of levels can be understood, thereby increasing understanding of user signal strength. A demodulator(10) demodulates a selected broadcast signal in a transport stream type and outputs it to a microcomputer(30). A key input unit(20) outputs various key signals by a key operation of a user to the microcomputer. A memory unit(40) stores a sample image and help per each level corresponding to signal strength. An image processing unit(50) outputs a video signal of a broadcast signal. Moreover, the image processing unit displays the sample image and the help inputted from the microcomputer on a screen. |
