An IC register setting method of a television is provided to call and use an IC register from an RAM(Random Access Memory) when the television is driven, thereby shortening the time required for developing a program. An IC register separates a booting code from a program code and stores them in a flash memory. The booting code and program code are loaded on an RAM(S13). Whether an effective register exists in the IC register(S14). If not, a chip is initialized through the program code(S16). If so, the chip is initialized to the effective IC register value(S17). |
