A REFRIGERATOR HAVING SLIDING TYPE DOOR

A refrigerator having a sliding door is provided to locate the refrigerator even in a space with a narrow width and allow a user to easily open and close the refrigerator using the sliding door. A refrigerator having a sliding door includes a main body(10) and a door(20). The main body has an accommodation space and an opening formed at the front side thereof. The door moves in the horizontal direction to open and close the opening of the main body. Sliding grooves(30) are respectively formed at the top and bottom of the opening of the main body and extended in the horizontal direction. Rollers(40) are respectively set on the top end and the bottom end of the door and move along the sliding grooves.
