A method for protecting a die-casting mold using cold spray coating is provided to form a coating layer thick enough on the surface of a mold without using toxic material. A method for protecting a die-casting mold using cold spray coating comprises a step of preparing a mold for die casting, and a step of forming a cobalt alloy film(7) by spraying cobalt alloy in the mold at the low temperature. The diameter of the cobalt powder used in the low temperature spray coating step is 5~200 mum. The temperature of process gas is 500~550°C.
