摘要 A controlling and catalyst monitoring method of a front and rear oxygen sensor is provided to monitor three way catalyst deterioration in consideration of OSC of three way catalyst in catalyst damage and driving area. A controlling and catalyst monitoring method of a front and rear oxygen sensor comprises a step for controlling a reach and a lean in order to be identical the I-Gain of the front oxygen sensor; a step for setting up a target voltage of a rear oxygen sensor in consideration of OSC of three way catalyst; a step(S14) for setting up a delay time according to the target voltage of the rear oxygen sensor; a step(S16) for determining the driving area according to engine RPM of a vehicle and engine load; a step for controlling the I-Gain of the front oxygen sensor according to the driving area; steps(S12,S20) for controlling I-Gain and P-Gain of the front oxygen sensor according to the changed driving area; and a step for reading a OSC(oxygen storage capacity) of three way catalyst(S32) and determining whether the OSC of three way catalyst is under 50%(S34) when the monitoring condition of three way catalyst is satisfied.
