An apparatus and a method for preventing bird habitation in the lower part of a bridge are provided to make the urban environment clean by preventing bird habitation in the lower part of a bridge. An apparatus for preventing bird habitation in the lower part of a bridge is composed of a bird invasion prevention plate(110) installed at the lower part of a preflex girder bridge(101), a fixing member(310) for fixing the bird invasion prevention plate to a lower flange(180), and a tightening bolt(270) fixed to the front side of the fixing member. A method for preventing bird habitation in the lower part of a bridge is composed of the step of placing the bird invasion prevention plate which the fixing member is attached, the step of installing the bird invasion prevention plate to be fixed with the tightening bolt, and the step of installing an anti-slip rubber plate(250) in the contact part between the preflex girder and the tightening bolt of the fixing member. |
