An electric gas lighter is provided to improve the portability and usability by allowing the user to light on while the light is mounted on a cigarette case. An electric gas lighter(10) comprises a body(20) and a switch sliding on the body. The switch includes a clip unit(30) elastically transformed to be inserted in a cigarette case(100). The clip unit is composed of a guide part having the width greater than the wall thickness of the cigarette case and a fixing part having the width less than the wall thickness of the cigarette case.
