The device has a converting unit for converting vibration energy of a vehicle into electrical energy. A transmission mechanism (1) converts a motion of a suspension of the vehicle to a rotating motion of a drive shaft, which is mounted by a spring. The transmission mechanism includes racks (7, 8) connected to a vibrant part of the vehicle. A set of gears provided along a side perpendicular to the shaft. A transmission wheel (21) is mounted in an intervening half transmission wheel on a rotor of a generator.
